Note to Self- Poem.

Resist the irresistible.

And differentiate the impersonators.

Evade from deception. 

And absorb in all motivation. 

Always be the inspiration.

And never let the fear of rejection stop you from asking the question.

Allow actions to define true perceptions.

And don’t worry about what you can’t control, it’s not within your obligation.

Allow yourself to always follow your heart.

But do it gracefully and by being smart. 

And always believe in yourself,

No matter what type of cards you are dealt.

Don’t ever underestimate, 

always overcompensate.

Just be who you are.

Keep smiling even when you feel torn apart.

And by all means when you love, do it with your entire heart. 

Be kind and have compassion.

You never know who you can help when you care about people in that kind of fashion. 

Strive for success.
But remember to thank God even on the days you are a total hot mess.

Open your eyes, 
you’ll begin to notice the true beauties in life.

Be a fan and praise.

Laugh a lot, it will brighten your days. 

Open a real book,

Because it will always bring you more wisdom than Facebook.

Understand, never demand. 

Life isn’t easy, 
Just do what you can.

Be the answer, not the question.

And never leave anyone with a bad impression. 

Although sometimes you’ll make mistakes.

Remember that you are human and that it’s going to be okay.

No one’s perfect, we all have flaws.

Just don’t ever let them define who you are.  

Try never to assume, instead be wise enough to presume. 

But if you have no proof always assume the best.

Positivity will always get you further ahead. 

And know that you are strong just by being brave.

When you step out into the unknown,

Even if you’re all alone. 

So don’t succumb into your fears.

And remember to always lead never follow.

There you’ll find happiness,

By letting life lead you exactly where you’re supposed to go.
