Do You, Boo.
Ever feel like people are judging you no matter what you do? Like you work out, feel great mentally, and have it all together. But then feel lonely because no one seems to understand you, but you. Then mentally you have a setback, and you feel like everything you've worked so hard for is crumbling down to the ground…OVER NOTHING. Of course we always want to seem like we have it all together, that we are happy and perfectly put, but sometimes we stumble and make mistakes. We are human. AND THAT IS PERFECTLY OKAY. DO YOU. It's okay to not always be okay. We are SO hard on ourselves and others. But the people who truly do care about us will always be there no matter what. Have you ever heard of that saying, only the true people in your life that do care can actually hear your silence? So it had me thinking. The quality of our life are not those around us, it's what's within us. So do you, boo.
Maybe sometimes our very own illusions are the cause of our disillusionment. And we reflect off of it. We feel maybe we don't look how we should, or feel sad but push the feelings away because we don't want to allow ourselves to be vulnerable, or show any signs of weakness. There it is... DISILLUSIONED by OUR OWN ILLUSION. That only conveys to others right? I mean if we place ourselves in our own illusions, believing that our lives are perfect, wouldn't we think the same about others? But that is only going to falsify our dignity and disappoint ourselves when we do meet people. So why are we doing it? Why do we disregard our true identities just to please others, because we sure as hell aren't doing it to please ourselves. But maybe that’s exactly why we are.
I mean I am totally guilty of this. I ALWAYS smile. But that can be deceiving. Because I’m not always happy. But I like to spread happiness and positivity. Even when I’m sad, because while around others, I don't want to put a damper on anyone, so I smile. Just like when things are totally out of control, I laugh. I don't know why. Chaos makes me laugh. But that's me. That's what I do. That's why I say do you boo. Because yes although we might illusion others by protecting something deeper within ourselves; As long as we are true to one another, and mainly to ourselves, I truly believe we won't worry so much about what others perceive of us. Because when you do you, you leave no room for false pretenses. You own your character, your choices and your decisions all by being you. What others see in us, well if we stay true to who we are, they will see us for who we are. That will leave no room for disappointments, because genuineness looks best on everyone. Even if you are a hot mess, I’d rather know you for who you are, than find out later because you didn't come with a caution sign or warning label. Yet, I only become the fool because I was totally disillusioned by your illusion of being so damn great. When in reality, you're just another hot mess of garbage that needed to be taken out last week. But the febreeze of your illusions never had me questioning your true identity because it was masked by that floral deception. So how can that be anyone else's fault other than your own for not doing you boo? You sure could have avoided all that trash talk. SO OWN IT. Own who you are. Even if you're a total asshole. Just be you. Respect is a much better thing to carry than Karma. I mean I’d choose respect any day. I’m nowhere near prideful. Although sometimes I have had to step over my inner pride to be the loser. But even then, I still own that shit. I'll be the first person to admit my wrongs. Just like when my favorite team loses, I still stand by them, owning it because that's just the type of person that I am. To be true to myself, even when facing a loss, defines the realness of my very own identity. I can't say this enough. DO YOU, BOO.
So it had me wondering why so many of us are lost, like we need someone in our life to feel complete. This is total bull. I need ME more than anyone, other than God himself, he comes first. But we need ourselves. I can't fathom this enough. We are in dire need of our very own identities. Because that’s our choices, decisions, and reactions. We all have choices we have to make right? Yet we find ourselves only offended by someone else’s choices as if we aren’t even concerned with our very own. Think about that. We focus so much on other people by the illusion of how they treat and make us feel, when in all reality, we are falsifying their greatness by expecting them to be a certain way based off of our very own illusion of them. We are expecting others to not let us down when in reality, we let ourselves down more, yet our pride won’t allow us to admit that we actually hurt ourselves. That’s when blame comes into play. You cannot even say it’s not a constant battle. But life isn’t a game of battleship. Shit, I know I hurt myself more than anyone else. So tell me just how we are allowing to be hurt by another that only disillusioned us, when we allowed them to in the first place? Don’t focus on them, DO YOU. The real ones will stay. You will know when it’s right. Timing is everything. Hold on to them good people in your life, those are the ones that will always root for you, even when you lose. The same way you'd root for them, they are rooting for you.
I think it’s more important what we see in ourselves verses what we see in others. Because illusions start within. If we see good, it brings out the good. I’m not saying to blind yourself from the bad because all you want too see is the good. I truly believe that if we see something good in someone, it may make them want to be better themselves. So it does start within, and conveys into others. All by being you. Like even if your single, OWN THAT SHIT. Not everyone is meant to have a partner. Date yourself, take yourself out, go pamper yourself, instead of slaving away catering to this illusion of perfection. The illusion society puts into our lives making everyone want to be married, have kids, and the whole damn nine yards. But technically they call it nine yards because you're actually a yard short from a first down, and your coach is about to make a bad call to go for it, while your biggest guard is inactive, and life's about to blitz. So who’s really winning here? Think about that. I say DO YOU BOO and you'll get actual points on your lifes scoreboard. If you want kids, have kids. You want to get married, go get married. But don’t try to be someone you’re not. Because when we rush life, life rushes us. Then we forget about what makes us who we are. That’s more important than what we want. Don’t forget that. Even when you feel like life is not okay, face it. This too shall pass. Because the illusion of being okay, only assumes you to believe that you will never feel not okay. That’s not okay. We need to recognize that YES! We are amazing humans. We love, we fall out of love, we feel sad, we feel happy, we have it together and sometimes we don’t. Life flows, we got to let it go. By accepting it. Just because things are illusioned to always be okay, won't mean they are always going to be okay. Just like when things look terrible, doesn’t automatically mean our life is falling apart. That’s my point here. We need to accept when we aren’t okay, because although we may feel like we aren’t in that moment, our life is right where it’s supposed to be. That’s what makes it so beautiful. Because growth isn’t an illusion. It’s how you react when you feel vulnerable, when you feel like your entire world is crumbling down to the ground, that’s only your own illusion in that very moment that it actually is. But your actions in that moment proved you are solid. That you are capable of amazing things even when faced with sadness. Because you did not convey your emotions into an action. You accepted the illusion and did not allow it to make you disillusioned. You have the power within yourself. All well sad, alone, hurt, or even when you feel like the world is crashing down, because you finally can see that it really isn’t.
Our trials actually build our strength. So don't be fake and push realness aside. There’s to much falseness already in this world. Do you boo. That’s the real way to win in life. Because goodness attracts goodness. I truly believe we are all outstanding, great humans, we just let our emotions and feelings disillusion us. But we are more than what happens to us. We are all capable of amazing things and we will all see that when we aren’t blinded by the illusions that deceive us. To see the realness of reality is such a better sight to see anyway, because life is real, not a fantasy. Don’t be disillusioned by the illusions of your fantasies. GO GET THEM! Follow your heart, and chase your dreams. In a world where you can be anything, be anything. Because I believe you can, and you should to. You are you. That makes you special, unlike any other. Because there is only one of you out of seven billion and that right there says everything. Besides, when timing is right, everything will fall right into place just as it should anyways. So don’t stress you, just do you, boo boo!
