The Queen Of Hearts.

I will not be defeated.

And I will not stand down or allow myself to be mistreated.

I know my worth, and I know my character.

If you try to change me,

You will never win.

Because I will stand tall,

Just when you expect me to fall.

And fight back with grace,

When you try to stand in my way.

And it is only you who will be missing out,

Because I sure as hell aint no one to doubt.

And those who truly know me,

Know just what I’m capable of.

I shouldn’t have to question my heart or whom that I love.

And I sure as hell don’t have to explain myself,

If I do to you then you’re looking for someone else.

So don’t assume I’ll stop you if you want a different card dealt.

Because my intentions are righteous.

Even when I’m at my worst,

You don’t get to borrow my throne,
Just for me to call you your highness. 

I am a strong woman that holds her own.

Because all of the trials that I behold.

So don’t try to tell me who to be,

Because the woman inside my soul,

Is exactly who I strive to be.

Yes even when I make mistakes,

I live and I learn.

But there’s just some people that stand in line waiting for their turn.

To criticize and humilitize with vengeance to bring out my flaws.

But I will never let them destroy me.

Even if you think you need to save me,

Save yourself.

Because I am a warrior and a Queen.

Not a princess waiting to be rescued by her King.

I know this world is a tough place to live,

And I know there’s no such thing as fairytales,

But everything will be alright if we can learn to make peace and just forgive.

And if you truly desire a throne next to mine,

Treat me as the strong brave loving woman that I am,

And then for you too, I will fight.
